About the Role As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for working with our customers to deliver a high level of customer service, building relationships and timely collections. You will also support the team when needed. This is more than just collections, working directly with internal and external stakeholders, a vital part of the finance team. Being involved in releasing new processes, tools and procedures. Utilising your inquisitive mind to expand your skillset and be supported to grow your knowledge and career. Key responsibilities: Managing high volume of debtor’s ledger both corporate and non-corporate, including invoicing and reconciliation. Communicating with customers regarding outstanding accounts, including resolving disputes. Monitoring accounts receivable balances and follow-up overdue invoices with clients and ensure prompt resolution of customer queries. Ensuring comments are updated in the debtor system to reflect actions arising from client recovery efforts. Building strong relationships with clients and their families through regular phone calls and or face to face meetings. Monthly reporting of accounts receivable metrics and coordinate/lead meetings with operational staff to discuss/resolve issues. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Minimum three years’ experience in accounts receivable and credit control, preferably with a non-corporate customer base. Intermediate proficiency in using Excel. Experience with a high-volume, low-value debtor environment would be highly regarded. Providing high levels of customer service, both internal and external stakeholders. High attention to detail. Ability to work constructively and positively in a finance team. Willingness to be accountable and offer recommendations for improvements to processes. Experience using medium-sized ERP systems. Experience using Salesforce, Lumary & GreenTree desirable.
