ABOUT THE ROLE As a Drainer with Ertech, you’ll be an integral part of our civil construction team, delivering high-quality drainage and pipelaying works across major infrastructure and land development projects. You’ll work alongside experienced operators and supervisors to install stormwater, sewer, and water services safely, efficiently, and to specification. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working outdoors as part of a collaborative crew, and understands the importance of safety and quality on site. Opportunities are available for both FIFO and Perth metro-based projects, with long-term work for the right people. ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS FOR THE DRAINAGE ROLES ARE Proven experience in drainage and pipelaying works in accordance with site plans, specifications, and drawings. Experience in Water Reticulation and Sewer also beneficial Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, levels, and line grades. Skilled in trench preparation, pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction. Sound understanding of trench safety, shoring systems, and safe excavation practices. Experience operating small plant and equipment associated with drainage works (e.g. plate compactors, trench rollers, pipe lasers). Ability to work effectively within a civil construction crew and follow instructions from supervisors.
