Rather than performing hands-on testing, you will manage the penetration testing program across applications, infrastructure, vendors, and internal delivery teams. You'll ensure testing activities align with Federal Government standards, translate technical findings into actionable insights, and drive remediation across a complex ecosystem. This is a high-visibility role working closely with engineering, security operations, senior stakeholders, and external partners. About the Role Coordinate, plan and oversee penetration testing activities across the platform, infrastructure and application environment. Ensure testing aligns with Federal Government frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, Essential 8 and supports IRAP assessments. Review test results, assess risks, prioritise remediation and track closure across multiple teams. Act as the central liaison with penetration testing vendors, internal operations, and external partners. Provide clear reporting, briefings, and actionable insights to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Contribute to broader security governance, assurance and continuous improvement activities. About You 5-10 years' experience coordinating penetration testing, vulnerability management or security assurance in complex enterprise or government environments. Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies (PTES, OWASP), vulnerability management processes and common application/network vulnerabilities. Knowledge of Federal Government security standards (ISM, PSPF, Essential 8) and experience supporting IRAP assessments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into risk-based guidance for diverse stakeholders. Highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple workstreams, vendors and senior stakeholders. Collaborative, proactive, and able to build effective relationships across engineering, security, and program leadership.
