About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. About the Role The purpose of the Operational Support Officer position is to provide operational and administrative support to the Operations Manager and Office Manager in the delivery of services within the Melbourne office. Key accountabilities include: Using initiative and sound judgement to provide timely and proactive advice to support the Operations Manager and the Office Manager. Contributing to and undertaking a range of operational duties supporting JV activities, including those associated with JV's jury management system (JMS). Supporting the Operations Manager in the forecasting for; the summonsing of; and the communicating with citizens summoned as jurors to meet the listing demands of courts. Providing advice and support to operational staff (Melbourne and circuit based) on procedural matters and escalated enquiries from jurors and employers. Supporting the delivery of training and onboarding practices, ensuring the currency of training material and processes About You To be successful in this role, you can demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with Juries Victoria's stakeholders, problem solve and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic operational environment. You will have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to prioritise your work and provide confident and informed advice. Experience working in a professional office environment is highly regarded. A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential and an understanding of the business and complexities of the Victorian courts or a similar working environment would be highly regarded.
