SMP Construction Coordinator – Yuri Green Hydrogen Project (Karratha) TSS are supporting the Yuri Green Hydrogen Project in Karratha and are seeking an SMP Construction Coordinator for a 6-month contract. This role suits someone with strong onshore oil and gas construction experience who can bridge engineering, fabrication and site execution. Trade or degree backgrounds will be considered, with a preference for Mechanical Engineers. The scope focuses on reviewing engineering for constructability, coordinating fabrication and delivery, preparing work packs and execution plans, and resolving technical issues during installation. You’ll work closely with engineering, contractors and site teams to keep quality, schedule and safety on track. Key responsibilities Review SMP engineering deliverables for constructability Support fabrication, installation and site execution activities Prepare work packs, fabrication cards and execution inputs Monitor contractor fabrication progress and delivery to site Assist with procurement and subcontract inputs where required Attend meetings with contractors, suppliers and engineering Identify and manage site-based changes and support the MOC process Provide progress updates to project management What you need Strong SMP construction background in onshore oil and gas or heavy industry Experience in brownfields execution within operating plants is beneficial Preferred: Mechanical Engineer (degree qualified), but strong trade backgrounds will be considered Ability to interpret engineering deliverables and identify constructability issues Good planning, organisation and communication skills P6 exposure is a bonus What's on offer 6-month contract Site based in Karratha 2:1 roster, 10.5-hour days Start 5 January, mobilisation 6 January Rates - $120 - $130ph plus super
