Job Description As an Electrical Design Drafter working with the Distributions team, your impact will be in the preparation of panel layouts, schematic designs, switchroom/terminal station layouts, cable/wiring schedules and related documentation related to the design of HV and EHV terminal stations and substations. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking drafting of distribution designs to a high technical standard Review and assess brownfield and greenfield sites Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure detailed designs are practical, technical sound and meet/exceed client expectations Ensure all design activities are completed within budget, schedule, and quality targets, maintaining cost-effective delivery Identify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements Participate in design reviews, contributing technical input and identifying opportunities for design optimisation
