Your Role We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Education Officer, Autism to join the South East Region Student Services team. This role leads strategic, collaborative and evidence-based initiatives to improve outcomes for autistic students through intensive capability building and instructional leadership. Working closely with school leaders, and educators, you will support the implementation of evidence-based practices by delivering targeted coaching informed by data, research and best practice. Responsibilities include: Leading strategic autism capability-building initiatives across schools and early years settings. Delivering high-impact professional learning, coaching and modelling to strengthen the use of evidence-based practices. Partnering with school leaders and educators to support evidence-based inclusive education practices. Providing expert advice on behaviour, engagement and support planning for autistic students. Using data and evidence to evaluate practice, identify needs and drive continuous improvement across the region. About You: A strong instructional leader with deep knowledge of autism, evidence-based practices and inclusive education. Skilled in building capability, coaching others and influencing schoolwide improvement. Collaborative, reflective and able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communicator who builds trust and engages diverse stakeholders. Able to analyse data, translate research into practice and lead change with integrity.
