Project Manager Location : Sydney, NSW 2000 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: BGIS is seeking a Project Manager to join our Sydney team in the heart of the CBD. In this role, you will drive project success from start to finish, ensuring projects meet stringent time, quality, and budget targets. You'll play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients, leading teams to deliver excellence while maintaining BGIS's high standards. This position also requires strong technical skills to effectively interpret project documentation, manage technical risks, and support the delivery of complex solutions. Key Responsibilities: Drive project success by ensuring adherence to time, quality, and budget requirements. Lead and manage employees and subcontractors to deliver exceptional service and foster teamwork. Cultivate strong client relationships and represent BGIS with professionalism. Ensure strict compliance with contract obligations, BGIS policies, and HSEQ standards. Monitor project finances, including budget oversight, forecasting, invoicing, and cost minimisation during Defect Liability Periods. Your Accountabilities: Manage budgets, approve invoices, and maintain project cash flow. Oversee all project stages from scope definition to handover, prioritizing safety and compliance. Cultivate positive client relationships, drive continuous improvement, and adapt to evolving project needs. Foster a cohesive work environment promoting teamwork, accountability, and open communication. Demonstrate strong technical capability in understanding building services, construction methodologies, asset lifecycle requirements, and project documentation to support high-quality project outcomes. What were looking for: Proven experience delivering projects or capital expenditure programs in construction, refurbishments, or fit-outs. Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with clients and contractors effectively. A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and contract management. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word. Experience managing workplace health and safety compliance on construction sites. Qualifications : Essential: Certificate IV in OHS or relevant experience, and Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related discipline. Current General Induction for the Construction Industry card.
