Position Summary: The Sales Trust Administrator will join a team which is responsible for managing the sales trust accounting related activities. The Trust Administrator will assist with the daily management of the sales trust accounts for the company and ensure effective working relationships with his/her colleagues, sales team and key stakeholders to provide the highest level of customer service at all times. The role will report directly to the Financial Controller, but will also be required to maintain ongoing relationships with other members of the team including: Senior Management Board of Directors Direct Manager Team members Colleagues Key Stakeholders Responsibilities Work together with your direct manager, sales consultants and Sales Administration to provide efficient and timely management of the sales trust function, including; Receipting and management of deposits, section 27’s, property payment and disbursements Processing vendor advertising payments and receipting Dealing with vendor advertising enquires as required Processing of payments and fielding enquiries from all stakeholders Reconciliation of the sales trust account Reporting as required Liaise with the sales team and sales manager daily as required Attend Sales meetings as required Keeping accurate records of all transactions Enter, update and maintain vendor and purchasers’ details in the database Assist finance team and sales team with problem solving where necessary Manage and prioritise work as required to meet deadlines Provide timely and accurate information to relevant parties Work with current processes and work on continuous improvement for those processes where relevant Any other accounts duties as required from time to time Ensure all processes are compliant with governing legislation Attributes Communicates with others Works effectively in a team environment Manages relationships & diversity Ability to work to timeframes and under pressure Plans and organises Analyses & problem solves Skills Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a trust accountant position The ability to work well independently and as part of a small team Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in Box and Dice preferable Kay & Burton has much to be proud of - but nothing more so than its people.
