This role suits a polished individual who thrives in a family environment, delivers consistently high standards, and understands the unique rhythm of private-residence service. About the Role Working across two beautiful residences - the primary home in Toorak and a secondary property on the Mornington Peninsula - you'll prepare fresh, nutritious, family-style meals tailored to the household's preferences. Dinner service is typically around 6-7 p.m., with simple, clean cuisine executed to an exceptional standard. You will manage all aspects of the kitchen including menu planning, sourcing, stock control, budgeting, and maintaining impeccable hygiene. The role offers variety, structure, and the chance to build long-term stability in a respectful and well-organised environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve daily meals for a small family. Create weekly menus featuring fresh, organic, home-style dishes. Manage suppliers, ordering, stock levels, and pantry organisation. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, appliance care, and food safety standards. Provide flexibility for occasional late changes in schedule. Travel to the family's holiday residence for extended periods during school breaks. Uphold complete confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times. About You Proven experience as a Private Chef or Senior Chef within high-end households, private yachts or premium hospitality. Confident delivering simple, wholesome family meals to a consistently high standard. Highly organised with strong time-management and communication skills. Warm, grounded, and adaptable, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into a family home. Clear understanding of boundaries, discretion, and service etiquette. Full driver's licence essential.
