About the role The Isaac Events Centre Trainee will be part of our Community Facilities team in Moranbah. This is a varied role where you’ll get hands-on experience in administration and customer service while studying for a Certificate III in Business. Your traineeship will see you: Welcome visitors and assist with enquiries at the Events Centre. Learn office and administration skills including data entry, filing, and correspondence handling. Support the organisation of events, meetings and workshops. Work with a supportive team and training provider to complete your qualification. The role at a glance Type: Fixed Term – 12 months Hours: Full-time, 72.5 hours per fortnight Roster: Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnight (hello long weekends!) Who we’re looking for This traineeship is open to all ages and backgrounds – what matters most is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people. Can communicate well and work as part of a team. Are confident with the basics of Microsoft Office.
