We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter for our North Melbourne site. This will be a full-time, maximum-term contract role finishing in December 2026. This role will be responsible for scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks, as well as attending to breakdown responses to support business operations. Reporting to the site Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out daily servicing, repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance Planner Be actively involved in plant improvements and projects Maintain a proactive safety attitude and follow safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, permits). Respond promptly to breakdown calls, evaluate causes, and implement solutions in coordination with production staff. Carry out minor electrical tasks i.e. disconnects - reconnects, resets, in line with relevant electrical qualifications, if applicable About You To be successful in this role, you will be required to possess: Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Mechanical Fitter & Turner) Restricted Electrical licence (Desirable) Experience in FMCG or manufacturing, and maintaining Flour Milling equipment Relevant licences and tickets e.g. Confined space, Forklift, Working at heights, Elevated work platform (Desirable) Strong communication skills with an all-inclusive approach to dealing with peers and operations personnel at all levels in the business. * Previous experience using CMMS Maintenance Program (MEX) What's on offer at Mauri?
