THE ROLE The Executive Director, Procurement, is responsible for procurement strategy, policy and processes including transforming current practices to support delivery of the some of the most significant social and affordable housing projects in the state. An Executive Director, Procurement is required to design and establish effective and efficient procurement processes that drive value for money outcomes for whole of government whilst maintaining compliance with relevant legislative and policy obligations ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Design, develop and implement streamlined procurement processes across the program to achieve organisational and process efficiencies that support program objectives and attract private sector involvement. Work with a high level of independence and authority to establish the required authorising environment for the program including any required new arrangements such as supplier panels in consultation with central agencies and the Department. Oversee and provide expert strategic advice and guidance for all external advisors, goods and services procurements undertaken for the purposes of the High-rise Redevelopment Program Please open the position description to read more.
