StaffCo is seeking Pick Packers and Forklift Operators based in Cannon Hill. These are day-shift roles, operating Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with immediate starts available. Positions may begin on a casual basis for the first few weeks with the opportunity to transition to permanent or may commence as permanent from the start. A current forklift licence and previous experience are required for forklift operator positions. Pick packer roles require strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Unloading and loading of trucks Storing incoming stock in appropriate bin bay locations Notify when defective products are found on deliveries or during routine stock counts. Isolate defective stock and place HOLD sticker on product. Ensure allergens protocols are followed – handling and storage techniques Check date sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed. Daily picking of next day ingredient and packaging requirements for transfer to day store. Daily inventory review to production plan advising Warehouse Supervisor of any actual or pending shortages. Cycle counting, performing counts, and ensuring all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy. Maintain safe work practices and compliance to company OH&S Policy. Maintain quality control and compliance to company Quality Policy. Qualifications / Skills / Attributes: 2 years’ experience in an storeman role or similar A current forklift licence – high reach experience advantageous Well-developed problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent Time management Strong computer skills Be reliable and punctual. Have a great attitude towards learning.
