About the Role My client is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and install automated packaging equipment across customer sites. You’ll work on a wide range of machinery including robotics, PLCs, servo drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. What You’ll Be Doing Service, repair, and maintain automation and packaging machinery Providing informal management mentoring technicians Commission new equipment and assist with upgrades/updates Fault-find electrical, mechanical, PLC, and drive systems Interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical manuals Travel interstate and work extended hours when required What You’ll Bring A Grade Electrical Licence 5 Years experience in field service or industrial maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, robotics highly regarded) PLC experience – Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD electrical/mechanical drawings Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously What’s on Offer Company Ute, fuel card, laptop & phone Exposure to diverse automation technologies Real impact on machine performance and productivity Great Salary Super Overtime Our Client An iconic and highly respected brand, our Client specialises in the development and distribution of advanced technology, systems, and consumables for product-marking applications.
