About the role We’re looking for a Treasury Manager to join our Finance, Investor and Corporate Strategy business unit, within the Treasury section. Reporting to the Treasurer – Funding, this is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by the challenge of managing complex funding activities. You’ll be part of a team responsible for one of Australia’s largest corporate debt portfolios, spanning multiple currencies, jurisdictions, and maturities. In this role, you’ll assist with the planning, management, and execution of Transurban’s funding activities, while also contributing to strategic development and growth initiatives. It’s a role that combines technical expertise with relationship management, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on the future of our business. Day-to-day, you will: Assist with the execution of funding tasks in line with the Funding Plan and Treasury Policy Ensure funding activities are implemented effectively and efficiently Mentor and guide junior team members Contribute to the development and six-monthly update of the Funding Plan Support the management of key internal and external relationships, ensuring information is accurate and reliable Participate in Group development projects, including deal execution, analysis of funding solutions, and assessment of impacts on credit metrics and ratings targets Promote diversity and inclusion by fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace Communicate the company Code of Conduct and encourage appropriate behaviours Uphold workplace safety by following HSE policies and reporting hazards or incidents This role will suit someone with: Experience in corporate treasury, capital management, or a related field Strong understanding of financial risks and mitigation strategies Knowledge of debt and equity markets and financing activities Advanced technical, financial, and modelling skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Relevant tertiary education and professional qualifications If you meet most of these requirements but not all, we still encourage you to apply.
