Position Title: Transport Coordinator Reporting Manager: Host City Transport Manager (HCTM) Position Summary: TMS AUS has been appointed by the AFC Women's Asian Cup Local Organising Committee to provide professional ground passenger transport services for their upcoming event. These services involve bus, fleet, staffing and transport software to deliver a fully integrated service across the three appointed Host Cities. We are seeking a total of 7 Transport Coordinators to join our dynamic operations team for February and March 2026, with the need for 4 of those roles allocated to Sydney, 2 for Perth and 1 for the Gold Coast. This role plays a critical part in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and customer-focused transport services across the event and daily operations. You will closely with a variety of internal groups and external partners to ensure transport operations run smoothly, problems are resolved quickly, and service quality is consistently delivered. Please note, there is no expectation for individuals to move between the three Host Cities but there is a requirement to move between the various official venues within the Host City including Stadiums, Accommodation, Training Venues and Airports. Responsibilities: Assist the operational coordination of multiple load zones/parking areas at all venues within your Host City, which may activate simultaneously during the event period. Assist in the management of the temporary Transport team at your assigned operational locations. Participate in all pre-event and familiarization training to understand the event transport requirements for your client groups. Understand and implement the venue transport operational plans for your locations and execute any dynamic changes to those plans as required from briefings with your HCTM. Work closely with scheduling teams, vehicle providers and other operational staff to ensure all transport operations meet the client's needs using your load zone/parking areas. Implement and obtain operational responsibility for all radio communications for your assigned areas. Identify and escalate any issues that affect seamless transport operations to the HCTM in a timely manner. Qualifications and Requirements: Preferred experience working in a special/major event environment, ideally in the passenger transport industry in one or more of the following areas (Bus, Coach, Chauffeur, Taxi, Rail, Fleet etc.) Work collaboratively as part of a team to coordinate and deliver a project on behalf of a client. Coordinate with various stakeholders and service delivery partners to ensure the client experience is of the highest standard. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, live environment. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments. Professional, customer-service mindset with the ability to engage staff at all levels. Maintain and follow Workplace Health & Safety requirements whilst performing your duties at all times, ensuring the health and safety of yourself, your colleagues and sub-contractors at all times. Ensure all NHVL compliance requirements, such as Chain of Responsibility (COR) is adhered to and implemented throughout the planning and delivery of all services. Fluent in English, both written and oral. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams). These roles are Australia based, therefore the right to work in Australia is a requirement. Individuals must already be based in one of the Host Cities mentioned above. A full National Background Check will be submitted through AusCheck, which requires complete personal documentation ready in advance. Individuals must pass a National Police Check as part of the events Accreditation requirement. Current and full car driving license required. Due to the demands of the event, flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays is required.
