Due to exceptional growth, we’re expanding our SHAPE Modular team and are looking for a Project Manager to lead the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of modular construction projects across South Australia. This is a key role driving the growth of our modular offering and shaping exceptional project outcomes. About You: As a Project Manager with Modular by SHAPE, you’ll lead the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of innovative modular construction projects across South Australia. From preconstruction through to handover, you’ll oversee every stage of multiple projects—managing programs, contracts, budgets, quality, and stakeholders. You’ll work closely with our Adelaide team and Modular Facility in Ottoway, driving operational excellence while mentoring your project team and building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where your leadership, technical expertise, and passion for modular innovation will shape exceptional project outcomes. You will oversee: End-to-end delivery of modular construction projects from pre-construction to handover Project programmes, schedules, and timelines to ensure timely completion Head contracts, subcontracts, tendering, and procurement processes Project budgets, financial reporting, cost control, and profitability Quality management and defect minimisation across all projects EHSQ compliance and implementation of safety, environmental, and quality standards Project documentation, progress updates, and reporting in JOBPAC and Procore Coordination and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders Mentoring, coaching, and performance management of project teams Building and maintaining strong client relationships and networks Identifying risks, opportunities, and variations, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track This role will be based at our SHAPE Adelaide office and our Modular Facility based in Ottoway. About you You’re a confident and capable Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about modular methods of construction. A natural leader, you bring a strong mix of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and people-first thinking. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and able to navigate challenges with professionalism and a positive attitude. Above all, you take pride in delivering high-quality work safely, collaboratively, and with integrity. You will bring: 5 years’ experience in the construction industry, with modular, manufacturing, fit-out or refurbishment experience highly regarded 2–5 years’ Project Management experience delivering projects ideally $5M Strong understanding of project methodology, cost reporting, programming, and Australian Safety Standards Ability to interpret specifications and drawings with accuracy and buildability in mind Experience leading and mentoring project teams Strong financial acumen, including managing budgets, forecasting, and driving profitability Solid knowledge of head contracts, subcontracts, tendering, and contract administration Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Project), JOBPAC and Procore A commitment to EHSQ principles and driving best practice on every project A collaborative working style, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams A flexible, open-minded approach and the resilience to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude You will embody SHAPE’s values—acting with character, integrity, excellence, intelligence, and an unwavering commitment to safety—while contributing to a supportive, high-performing team culture where we work hard, respect each other, and have lots of fun along the way.
