We’re partnering with a leading national retailer to recruit an experienced designer who understands how to turn global trends into commercially successful, everyday product that customers love. About the Role Interpret global print, pattern and graphic trends and translate these into commercially appealing artwork. Collaborate closely with apparel designers, buyers and offshore teams to deliver cohesive, on-brand product ranges. Create coordinated artwork that reflects a consistent "design handwriting" while appealing to broad customer demographics. Develop accurate production-ready art for mass manufacture. Influence key internal stakeholders and contribute to seasonal direction through compelling visual presentations. Manage your workflow in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-volume ranges. About You 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer in apparel or textile graphics. Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. Demonstrated ability to create commercial, customer-focused graphics. Strong aesthetic judgement in colour, composition, materials and trends. Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under pressure. Experience collaborating with offshore teams is highly valued. Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Surface Pattern Design, Illustration or similar. Ideal Candidate Qualities Trend-aware with a commercial mindset. Able to balance creativity with brand handwriting. Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working autonomously but thrives in a collaborative environment.
