An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Payroll Officer to be responsible for payroll processing within a corporate environment. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, key duties include the following: Processing of large payroll with exposure to taxation, compliance and governance. Solve queries and process redundancies, terminations and tax compliance. Implement payroll controls to ensure processes & systems are compliant under relevant EA/Individual Awards & Fair Work. Identify process gaps, process redundancies & proposes enhancements to the payroll processes. Review data issues across multiple systems and work with HRPBs. About You As the successful candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Tertiary Qualifications in HR/Accounting degree or Diploma in payroll. Sound experience at a Senior Level of Payroll with 3-5 yrs exp in Business Process Analysis. Must have experience in redundancies, terminations and tax reconciliations. Strong payroll management, stakeholder engagement & excellent communication skills. High level analytical & problem solving skills. Excellent Excel Exp; also Workday and Pay Global.
