For more information, please visit our website Your Role: The Teacher Librarian is to work closely with the library staff and teaching staff in ELC, Primary and Secondary as well as students, to enhance what is offered to students and staff through the LRC. Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students' needs to maximise student learning Mentor and pastor students to help them better understand their purpose About you: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship , as well as the following skills and experience: be a highly committed professional and have a desire make a difference in the lives of students; be an excellent classroom practitioner and communicator; previous experience as a Teacher Librarian (preferred); capacity to manage an innovative 21st Century library space that promotes critical and creative thinking, develops students' research skills and strengthens their digital literacy; demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all facets of information management and the operations/administration of a school library; be committed to academic excellence with high expectations of students; possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders; be committed to their own professional learning and growth; be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith; have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of students; and, be willing to actively contribute to the co-curricular life of the College.
