Your role at St John of God Richmond Hospital We are seeking an experienced and motivated Allied Health Manager ( Psychologists) to lead the operational delivery of our allied health services and contribute to high-quality, patient-focused care across St John of God Richmond Hospital. This leadership role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities, with the potential to carry a clinical caseload as required. SJG Richmond Hospital is a well-respected private mental health facility, renowned nationally for its specialised programs in post-traumatic stress disorder and trauma care, particularly supporting first responders. The hospital also provides a broad range of high-quality mental health services for both inpatients and outpatients. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of allied health services, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives and the delivery of connected, patient-centred care. Manage workforce planning and rostering to support high-quality clinical services and productivity targets. Monitor financial and performance indicators, taking proactive action to address variances. Use advanced clinical expertise to guide service development, evaluation and continuous improvement. Work collaboratively as part of the senior clinical leadership team to achieve clinical and business goals. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Contribute to the strategic planning and future growth of allied health services, including service expansion initiatives. Lead and participate in safety, quality and clinical governance activities, including incident reporting, investigation and risk reduction. Provide clinical services as required, contributing to a multidisciplinary model of care and maintaining a commitment to clinical excellence. You will hold a relevant registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, along with extensive experience and demonstrated leadership capability required to navigate a complex professional environment and drive high-quality outcomes. You are confident managing and facilitating change and have a proven ability to implement new initiatives while actively promoting and enhancing the profile of the hospital’s Allied Health services.
