Your new role: In this position, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team and oversee a team of administrative officers. You'll deliver confidential secretarial support, manage workflows, coordinate meetings and documentation, maintain accurate data entry across CIMHA, HBCIS, iEMR and other systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced mental health environment. You will: Supervise and manage administrative staff, including rostering, workloads, performance and training Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to clinicians and management Maintain accurate consumer-related data and documentation across multiple clinical systems Coordinate meetings, diaries, agendas, minute-taking and follow-up actions Manage reception, respond to enquiries and provide effective communication with staff, consumers and carers About you: You are an experienced administrative team leader with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. You thrive in dynamic environments, manage competing priorities with confidence, and build positive relationships across multidisciplinary teams. You will bring: High-level administrative, secretarial and reception skills within a busy clinical or mental health setting Strong computer capability, including proficiency in Word, Excel, databases and clinical systems Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and maintain professionalism under pressure Experience supervising or coordinating administrative staff, including supporting performance and workflow Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and respect Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
