About the Role The Engagement Team, Student Support Branch is looking for an experienced AO7 Principal Project Officer, with a knowledge of schools and an interest in evidence-based programs that support student engagement and learning. This role is in the FlexiSpace project team and will largely focus on supporting FlexiSpace programs in more than 100 schools across the state, and may contribute to other alternative education project priorities. This role provides professional guidance and support to school leaders, school staff and regional colleagues on the implementation of best-practice alternative education programs in schools. This role requires the successful candidate to work closely and collaboratively with schools. Your Responsibilities The Principal Project Officer will be responsible for the development of resources and tools to support program delivery, monitoring and reporting on education and implementation data, managing program risks, analysing outcomes, identifying and developing strategies to build staff capability regarding student engagement and supporting schools to implement FlexiSpace and alternative education programs with fidelity, in line with best-practice evidence. The Principal Project Officer will be responsible for writing briefs, responding to correspondence, contributing to submissions and will provide advice to senior officers on program risks and benefits.
