As the Senior Administration Officer (AO5), you will:- Provide confidential business and secretarial support to the Director-General and Executive Director to set priorities and monitor workflow in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment.- Proactively manage and redirect of incoming Director-General correspondence and emails, as well as coordinating responses to requests for information and advice.- Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements for the Director-General and Executive Director including arrangements associated with high level executive meetings, internal visits, and conferences. - Identify, recommend, and implement financial and budget management practices and processes including monitor and reconcile travel and corporate card claims and approvals for the Director-General and Executive Director; maintain registers required by financial or legislative requirements. - Co-ordinate and compile information to facilitate the analysis of human resource, budget and financial performance including the on-going monitoring, reviewing, and reporting of the human resources and financial information of the division.- Ensure that systems and processes are in place to deliver corporate and business accountabilities and support the purchase and management of assets, inventory items and other goods and services.- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders through liaison with appropriate areas throughout the Department, the Office of the Minister, and other agencies.- Coordinate corporate performance planning and reporting activities for Office of the Director-General.- Provide assistance in a range of activities with the executive support team as required i.e. diary, calendar and meeting management.- Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace that is free from bullying, discrimination and harassment.
