About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Systems Accountant to join our Finance Systems and Data Analytics team at Elders. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to work within an ASX200 company and contribute to key business outcomes while developing your skills in finance systems and reporting. You’ll play a key role in supporting our ERP environment and assisting with process improvements, reporting, and data integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid accounting foundation and an interest in technology to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive team. Responsibilities As a Finance Systems Accountant, you will: Maintain and manage master data in Elders’ ERP systems, including MS D365 and other finance platforms. Provide systems support to finance users for month-end, year-end, and day-to-day queries. Monitor data accuracy to ensure reliable financial reporting and process efficiency. Assist with system integrations, transactional interfaces, and ERP implementation activities. Collaborate on developing and improving financial reports, dashboards, and analysis tools. Support budgeting, forecasting, and other analytical processes. Work closely with finance and IT teams to resolve technical and data-related issues. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business (CA/CPA or working towards is desirable). Practical understanding of accounting principles and data flows in finance systems. Experience with ERP systems and Excel skills . Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms. Exposure to MS D365, Financial reporting development, or similar technologies (desirable). A proactive mindset and interest in process improvement and technology.
