They are looking to hire skilled technicians, qualified in either Cert lll Mechanical Engineering or Light / Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Work will involve: Work on a wide variety of products - new and used. Servicing & repair of heavy trucks/vehicles/buses. Troubleshooting and fabrication. Transmission strip down & rebuilds. Warranty repairs & recalls. Carry out repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic components. Electrical diagnostics on components (taught if no prior experience). MIG welding and advanced fabrication. Sheet Metal Fabrication. Flame and plasma cutting. Cutting, roll grooving, pipe threading, and the use of power tools. Maintain an efficient & safe workplace. Working on your initiative and as part of a team. Recording any faults/issues that arise. Working to strict HSEQ standards. Depending on experience, the pay scale is $35 to $45 per hour, plus overtime, with regular pay reviews. $90,000 Super, within 2 years $100,000 opportunities to transition into other areas of this large business.
