A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work remotely on large-scale developments across the Sydney region. The Role: Lead mechanical/HVAC-R design and review for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Manage concept design, technical reviews, specifications, coordination, and construction support. Conduct regular site visits across Sydney for inspections and coordination. Work independently, managing your own workload, deliverables, and client communication. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers across disciplines. Ensure compliance with NCC, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards. About You: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). 6 years’ experience in building services, ideally within the Sydney market. Strong technical understanding of HVAC, hydronic, ventilation, and control systems. Proven ability to manage mechanical design packages independently. Confident working remotely with excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to attend site visits as required across Sydney.
