About the Role This role is responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work across a range of production equipment. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and broader operations team, you’ll ensure reliable plant performance and contribute to preventative maintenance planning. You will work with equipment such as augers, conveyors, bucket elevators, bag houses and palletising systems, while using digital maintenance tools to support safe and efficient operations. The role is Monday – Friday 6am-2pm, with potential for overtime and an on-call allowance. Casual hourly rate is negotiable dependant on skills and experience. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct mechanical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical faults using effective diagnostic techniques. Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks using maintenance tracking software. Manage work orders, track parts inventory and contribute to equipment health reporting. Maintain and repair plant equipment including conveyors, augers, elevators and automated packing systems. Work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative maintenance team. Adhere to strict Work Health, Safety and Environment standards at all times. Skills and Experience Mechanical Fitter trade qualification Previous experience in manufacturing, heavy industry or related environments Strong understanding of mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and sensors Experience using maintenance management/CMMS software Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Proven problem-solving ability and a proactive, safety-first mindset Benefits Stable hours with potential for permanent work for the right candidate Work with modern equipment in a supportive team environment Opportunity within a high-performing production facility Weekly pay via GBS How to apply?
