This role services clients across the Latrobe Valley and broader Gippsland region, with minimal travel beyond 100km. About the Role Reporting to the Service and Electrical Manager, this full-time position offers a varied and interesting workload across commercial and industrial environments. You'll work across repairs, maintenance, service, and installations, with typical time allocation including: Repairs & Breakdowns - 40% Preventative Maintenance - 40% A/C Installations - 20% You'll be hands-on with a wide range of systems including chillers, AHUs, ducted systems, split systems, package units and associated control systems. There is no fixed on-call roster — availability is discussed weekly with no ongoing obligation, providing genuine flexibility. About You You are an experienced, qualified refrigeration technician who takes pride in delivering quality results. You have a natural ability to assess defective HVAC assets, diagnose issues accurately, and provide practical solutions that meet customer needs. You bring a high level of attention to detail, work confidently both independently and alongside a close-knit team, and communicate clearly with colleagues, contractors, and clients. You understand the importance of professional presentation and customer service on every job. You will bring: Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Excellent written, verbal and technical communication Good time management and organisational capability Experience using app-based job management systems Ability to work autonomously and as part of a supportive team Essential licences and checks: ARC licence VBA Plumbing licence Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect (D) licence White Card Current driver's licence Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Tools: Specialist tools provided (gauges, vacuum pump, reclaim unit, etc.) You'll bring your own hand tools and basic battery tools Why Join JO Miller?
