Job Description As a Secondary Designer working with the Transmissions team, your impact will be in the preparation of panel layouts, schematic designs, switchroom/terminal station layouts, cable/wiring schedules and related documentation related to the design of HV and EHV terminal stations and substations. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking design drafting of substations, overhead and underground sub transmission and distribution to a high technical standard Review and assess brownfield and greenfield sites Manage outcomes within budget and project programme constraints whilst maintaining high levels of technical performance Review work as part of the peer review process from time to time as may be required Effectively manage the detail design from concept through to final design implementation to agreed scope, quality, time frames and budgets Identify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements
