With continued growth across their project pipeline, they're now seeking a Building Designer to strengthen their design capability and support their expanding team. The Role This position plays a key part in shaping the early stages of each project. The Building Designer will take initial client ideas and translate them into buildable, compliant, and commercially aligned design solutions. Operating through the Discover and Design phases, this role leads the concept design function and provides guidance to a small team of junior designers. It's a blend of hands-on technical design work, collaboration, and strategic input across project delivery. This will be a reloaction role and based in Swan Hill, a relocation package is on offer. The Responsibilities Produce accurate, high-quality design documentation including plans, elevations, sections, 3D models, and visualisations. Work closely with Sales and Preconstruction teams to refine concepts for function, efficiency, and constructability. Ensure all designs comply with NCC/BCA, Australian Standards, and Entegra's internal design parameters. Support ongoing improvements in drawing templates, detail libraries, and documentation processes. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, installers, and external stakeholders to align design and technical requirements. Participate in design reviews, value engineering discussions, and technical problem-solving. Oversee multiple design packages at once, maintaining clear, accurate documentation under tight deadlines. Provide day-to-day direction to junior designers and assist with managing workload priorities. What We Are Looking For A Diploma or Degree in Building Design, Architecture, or Experience Experience preparing or coordinating full architectural drawing sets. Strong knowledge of NCC/BCA requirements and Australian Standards. Experience with prefabricated or steel-structure design (advantageous). Familiarity with agricultural, manufacturing, or food-processing facility layouts (a bonus). Strong communication skills and confidence working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. * Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
