What you'll do Act as a senior member of a team of online communication professionals, leading initiatives to develop and deliver innovative communications strategies that enhance health outcomes for Queensland health system consumers. Forge and maintain relationships with senior management across Queensland Health, including HHSs, other Queensland Government agencies, and key stakeholders across the health sector, acting as a representative of the agency. Coordinate within a team of editorial and publishing professionals to lead the development and design of online content. Contribute significantly to the strategy for improving content delivery across the Queensland Health website network, considering agency operations and government initiatives. Oversee frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Queensland Health's online communication channels, including developing, analysing, and implementing best practices in usability and accessibility. As required, work from multiple locations in Brisbane, and participate in an on-call roster. About you We are searching for someone with: Extensive experience creating and writing content based on user needs that needs readability and WGAG requirements, with the ability to apply the Australian Government Style Guide. Significant experience in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating a dynamic online environment with a focus on content. This includes managing complex projects within agreed budgets and timeframes, ensuring all output aligns with the strategic priorities of the agency's operations and government initiatives. Ability to represent an agency, negotiate or communicate on behalf of the agency with stakeholders, and provide guidance and mentorship to other team members. Strong analytical, copywriting and problem-solving skills in an online content development and/or project management context. Why work with us?
