Come join System Policy and Planning division as a Data and Quality Officer where you will maintain regular data analysis and collection in relation to patients presenting to Redland Hospital who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness with the view to contribute to the achievement of a greater understanding of this patient cohort. Please note this role is a hybrid position and supports remote work Your key responsibilities: Collaborate with staff from within the Redland Hospital Social Work Department to support the collection of data relating to patients presenting to Redland Hospital who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Utilise hospital-based information systems (HBCIS, IeMR, The Viewer) to locate, verify and enter data into a centralised data collection spreadsheet. Document, follow, monitor, and report on quality assurance to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a data centric environment i.e. processing, manipulating, cleansing, and quality assuring computer-based data preferably in a health service setting/context. Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner, and a collaborative approach to team work. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and to troubleshoot and resolve data related problems. Why work with us?
