Our role it is to facilitate integrated and ecologically sustainable management of natural, cultural, and productive landscapes. The Mallee CMA region covers 3.9 million hectares - about one fifth of Victoria. It is the largest catchment area in the state and runs along the Murray River from Nyah to the South Australian border, and south through vast dryland cropping areas and public reserves. About the opportunity This is an exciting chance to join Mallee Catchment Management Authority as an Aboriginal Engagement Officer, where you'll play a vital role in strengthening environmental and cultural outcomes for Aboriginal communities across the Mallee region. Working in partnership with Traditional Owners and community stakeholders, you will help ensure Aboriginal cultural values and perspectives are embedded in natural resource management. This role offers the opportunity to foster meaningful engagement, support knowledge sharing, and create inclusive decision-making processes that respect and celebrate culture. This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $73,538.00 to $84,494.00 plus superannuation.
