The HB Group, Toowoomba’s leading Recruitment agency, is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Accounts Officer to join our busy Finance team. Working 15-20 hours per week, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and is confident managing financial and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Debtor Management: Follow up debtors and overdue accounts to ensure timely payments and maintain accurate records. Superannuation Administration: Manage the administration of superannuation for internal and agency staff members. PAYG Tax Payments: Process and pay PAYG tax by required deadlines. BAS Preparation: Coordinate the completion and lodgement of BAS in conjunction with our external accountant, ensuring all submissions are made accurately and on time. Payroll Services: Deliver backup payroll services in the absence of our permanent Payroll Officer. About You: Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or finance administration Intermediate knowledge of MYOB (desirable) Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills when liaising with clients and internal stakeholders Why Join Us?
