About the role This position is responsible for Meals on Wheels kitchen duties - including freezer work, receptionist duties and administration support within the Community Care Team. This role encompasses highly responsive customer service, attention to detail and flexible support to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the Community Care team. On a daily basis you will: Fulfil all administrational duties including, switchboard, word processing, communication dissemination, and customer enquires Complete accurate, reconciled, record keeping and data entry across multiple IT platforms Complete Meals on Wheels stock control processes including freezer work, stock rotation & inventory, meal packing & ordering Raising Purchase Orders and Receipting in line with council processes General administrational support across the Community Care team services About You We're seeking a candidate who possesses a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience. You will also bring: Food Handling Certificate (or ability to obtain within 3 months) Current Class C driver’s license Experience in food distribution is highly desirable, including tasks such as lifting, stock rotation, inventory management, order processing Daily cleaning duties in the kitchen area are also expected. Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of software and business technology Maintaining required information within set timeframes including processes to ensure accuracy of data and attention to detail Demonstrated customer service skills with a diverse population Advanced IT skills including Microsoft suite of products and other applications Certificate 4 in Business Administration or equivalent (Desirable Qualifications) What’s on offer We are offering a full-time permanent opportunity with an attractive remuneration from $68,111.76 plus 12% superannuation.
