What You’ll Be Doing You will support senior technicians in both the workshop and out in the field: Hands-On Workshop Duties Cleaning, testing, and refurbishing two-way radios & accessories Basic repairs (with guidance) Labelling, preparing, and dispatching equipment Organising and maintaining stock, tools, batteries, antennas ⚡ Cabling & Installation Preparation Cutting, terminating, labelling, and testing cables Assembling equipment kits for site installations Mounting brackets, preparing hardware, and ensuring materials are ready On-Site Field Support Shadowing senior technicians on customer sites Running cables, mounting equipment, and completing setup tasks Assisting with system testing & identifying basic faults ️ General Technical Support Workshop organisation Following safety procedures Completing simple paperwork & test records Providing friendly, professional service when interacting with customers What We’re Looking For Essential Attributes Entry-level trainee position Strong interest in telecommunications, communications technology, electrical work, or electronics Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in your work Comfortable using hand tools or small power tools Good communication skills and team mindset Qualifications (Essential) Certificate II or III in Electronics, Communications, Electrical or similar (If recently completed or currently completing — perfect!)
