We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic Production Workers for ongoing casual roles. With over 200 workers structured into 22 specialised teams, and an operational roster over 24 hours, our recruitment needs are constant! The Opportunities Depending on the team you’re working in, you’ll develop a niche set of skills and be asked to work hours that suit the production requirements. Here’s a brief overview of the roles and duties we’re seeking: Pastry Team | Pasties Team | Yeast Team Weigh/scale ingredients; mix doughs; laminate/sheet pastry; prepare pasties; monitor yeast/fermentation and dough temps; set up and change over lines (Baking experience and/or qualifications are preferred for the Yeast team). Pies Team | Ovens Team | Tipping Team Cook meat fillings; Safely tip ingredients and products; tray and form pastry bases; deposit fillings; apply and ID-mark pie lids; rack, bake, cool and de-pan products. Sausage Rolls & Quiches Team Sheet pastry; deposit fillings; roll/form and cut; glaze/topping; bake-off and quality/portion control. Meat Processing Team | Dicing Team Dice/mince meats and vegetables (incl. pumpkin); cook/chill fillings to spec; allergen controls; metal detection; complete production records. Warehousing | Stores Goods in and out; stock rotation and management; forklift usage; cold store stock management Hours of Work Based on the role type and given we’re a 24/7 production environment, start and finish times will vary. As a general guide, our shifts typically fall into the following groupings and are usually for 7.6hrs per shift. Mornings – starts between 2am - 9am Afternoons – starts between 1pm – 5pm Nights – starts between 8pm – 1am What We’re Looking For Reliable and available for full-time hours across regular shifts Physically fit for manual handling and working on your feet Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment Strong attention to detail, especially with food quality and safety Positive team spirit and willingness to learn Previous experience in bakery, food manufacturing, meat processing, or commercial kitchens is highly regarded, but not essential (we’ll provide training) Why Join Us?
