We are looking for multiple skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our dynamic team on Barrow Island. These positions operate on a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) 2/2 roster, offering a great opportunity to balance work and home life. This opportunity is open to candidates based in any Australian capital city! The successful candidates will be instrumental in delivering safe and efficient mechanical services, which include diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of heavy plant machinery, including 52-seater buses in the camp workshop facilities. Key Responsibilities: Diagnosing, Repairing and Servicing Heavy Plant Machinery and large transport buses Monitor and evaluate equipment performance to ensure optimal functionality. Ensure zero harm in the workplace by adhering to all policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Work effectively as a collaborative team, demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills. Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards, conducting risk assessments and workplace inspections as required. Essential Requirements: Cert III Automotive (Heavy Duty) Class C Driver's Licence White Card Work Safely at Heights certification Ability to pass a comprehensive medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing What We Offer: 2:2 FIFO roster, balance work and home life!
