As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and confidential processing of payroll for 450 employees. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing a professional and efficient service. Key Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll for at least 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation Maintain employee payroll records, including leave entitlements and superannuation Manage payroll queries and provide timely responses to employees and management Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements such as PAYG, Superannuation, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) About You: We are looking for someone with: - Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally in a medium to large organisation; - Strong understanding of payroll systems experience with MicrOpay would be advantageous - Knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation regulations; - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills; - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
