Introduction Your Impact As a BC Project Lead, you will play a key role in You will be part of the Good Sammy Finance Team reporting to the Financial Controller, with a dotted reporting line to the Chief Finance Officer. You will collaborate with the Good Sammy Finance and IT teams, as well as working collaboratively in a timely and accurate manner with the Systems Implementor, Wild Tech. Description What you'll do. Act as the Primary Finance Representative on the Good Sammy Business Central implementation team. Translate Good Sammy’s financial processes and reporting requirements into clear business requirements. Responsible for ensuring project timelines are met in a timely manner in accordance with the Project Plan/Programme. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT) a s well as the external implementor, Wild Tech. Review and provide assurance on configuration reviews before the Financial Controller and CFO can sign -off on deliverables. Work closely with the Finance team during configuration of: General Ledger. Procurement Process. Accounts Payable and Receivable. Bank Management and Reconciliation. Budgeting. Fixed Assets. Chart of Accounts. Validate workflows for approvals, posting controls and document numbering. Ensure accounting rules, tax rules and local compliance requirements are correctly implemented. Support the Financial Controller with data migration scope and parameters. Oversee data cleansing activities in Triumph prior to migration. Validate data migration templates accurately and in a timely manner. Develop and approve test scenarios for all finance related processes. Assist the Financial Controller with User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Coordinate resolution of defects and re-testing. Validate financial outputs (GL entries, reconciliations, reports) for accuracy and completeness. Responsible for escalating issues to the Financial Controller. Manage risks of the project in accordance with risk mitigation strategy. Skills And Experiences What you'll bring. Proven experience in project implementations of Microsoft Business Central, preferably Dynamics 365 Finance, in medium to large businesses. Strong knowledge of Finance principles, including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Reporting and Fixed Assets. Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate and collaborate with people at all levels. Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking skills. Strong sense of ownership, resilience and a consultative mindset. Strong stakeholder management and coordination, working with the Finance team and the external Systems Implementor. Proven excellent project hygiene skills, including updating Schedules Project Plans and documenting actions. Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple priorities. Strong computer skills, including an intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Understanding of the Not-for-Profit sector, including NDIS registered organisations.
