With 128 locations & over 101,000 Self Storage spaces across Australia & New Zealand we are looking to engage a Commercial Leasing Manager to look after our current non-storage lease arrangements, predominantly retail across Australia and New Zealand. The role will oversee the leasing and management of all commercial leasing activities for Kennards Self Storage. As the owners of commercial real estate assets in high profile locations, this role harnesses the opportunity to grow additional revenue by utilising unused opportunities within our properties. This may encompass spare land, unused space in our buildings, and roof areas. With over100 commercial lease tenants ranging from retail, Fast Food, Telco’s & Billboards across Australia & New Zealand. Working closely with the Construction Team & the executive you will add significant value to the business. You will be in control of: All leasing and property management functions for retail and commercial tenancies Coordinating & marketing vacant spaces to secure new tenancies & opportunities Communicating with owners and Lessees to negotiate lease renewals, conduct rental reviews, provide lease management support, and administer lease terms. Market research of future lease income potential for new property acquisitions. Negotiation of AFL and new leases. Ensure fulfilment of Lessor obligations in leases. Create & maintain a lease database, (including checking and preparing lease documents, compiling occupancy, rental reports, and other related lease management functions) With the ability to demonstrate: Foster and nurture client relationships Constructive communication and negotiating skills Robust understanding of business & commercial Property Management. A focus and understanding of data & improving financial outcomes Ability to self-manage Willingness to travel and work closely with your Team in a fun office environment.
