Description Why the role? We’re looking for a motivated and collaborative Junior Accountant to join our national Finance team on a 12-month full-time, fixed-term contract . This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, and a passion for supporting the firm’s ambitious growth journey. If this sounds like you, your duties will include: Assist with timekeeping and support tasks for team members, including basic data entry and corrections. Help monitor outstanding invoices and contribute to monthly financial reporting. Support the preparation of performance and financial reports with guidance from senior staff. Assist with processing journals, maintaining registers, and reconciling accounts. Help maintain calendars and financial systems, ensuring data accuracy for new starters. Participate in regular reviews of financial data and support payroll-related tasks. Contribute to team initiatives and provide general accounting and administrative support. Skills And Experiences Who are you? Undertaking (or have completed) formal accounting studies with a strong understanding of accounting principles. High level of proficiency on Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. You are a team player who values alternative perspectives and collaboration. High attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive activities while maintaining accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are adaptable to the audience. Confident and able to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Adheres to firm values, compliance standards, and maintain confidentiality.
