About the opportunity Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role gives you ownership of core accounting processes while helping drive continuous improvement across the finance function. You will manage end-to-end finance operations, strengthen controls, improve reporting accuracy, and support decision-making through timely reconciliations, high-quality monthly reporting, and actionable financial insights. You will also: Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis reporting for management Complete tax compliance obligations, including BAS, GST, FBT, and international tax where required Support statutory and regulatory reporting, including ABS submissions and subsidiary ledger reconciliations Manage revenue and expense recording, including end-to-end invoicing, reconciliations, and maintenance of customer records Act as the primary contact for all invoicing and accounts receivable queries Oversee accurate bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset management Maintain strong financial controls through timely revenue and expense recognition About you: You’re a business services accountant ready for your first move into industry, looking to gain hands-on experience working across the full finance cycle within a high-performing finance team in a reputable sporting organisation.
