An opportunity has now arisen for an Instrumentation Technician to perform instrumentation & calibration tasks such as calibration, fault finding, preventative maintenance on instrumentation & control equipment. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Engineering Lead, key duties include the following: Diagnose faults in, repair & calibrate control & monitoring loop elements, electronic systems & sub assemblies. Shut down, test run machines & equipment as required for maintenance purposes. Perform routine calibration of process instruments & perform preventative maintenance tasks. Interpret control system & electrical/electronic circuit diagrams & engineering drawings. Calibrate & solve instrumentation breakdowns such as temperature, pressure, flow, conductivity, ph, vales. Actively work with a wide range of stakeholders including Engineers, process, operations & maintenance teams. About You The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience: Diploma or Trade Qualification (Cert III or Cert IV or equivalent) as an Electrical or Instrumentation Technician. Sound experience across wide range of technical instrumentation in pharmaceutical, FMCG, oil & gas or similar industries. Sound understanding of calibration methods & experience in non conformances. Computer Literacy- SAP or CMMS Systems. GMP & Clean Room Experience highly desirable. Sound communication & interpersonal skills. Sound stakeholder engagement skills.
