A great opportunity for an emerging events professional to join a high-performing events team delivering conferences, incentives and corporate programs across Australia and internationally. This role is perfect for someone with 1–1.5 years’ industry experience or had strong internships, and are looking to build their events career within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The Role: The Event Coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational support across a busy calendar of conferences and incentive programs. This role will focus heavily on data entry, registration processing, database management, travel logistics and event administration. This position is designed for someone at the early stage of their career who is eager to learn, organised, and ready to roll up their sleeves. Input and manage delegate data with high accuracy Process event registrations and support registration site setup Maintain event databases (EventsAIR experience highly valued) Assist with booking flights, accommodation and ground transfers Liaise with Travel Manager and suppliers regarding group logistics Support Event Managers with documentation, reporting and admin Contribute to event preparation including rooming lists, timelines and communications Provide onsite support for events when required Assist with internal process improvement and template development General administrative support across multiple simultaneous programs Candidate profile: Minimum 1–1.5 years’ event coordination experience OR strong internships Event Management degree or qualification highly desirable Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detail Experience with EventsAIR or similar platforms advantageous Confident communicator with strong customer service skills Tech-savvy, organised and eager to learn Able to work remotely with initiative and self-motivation A positive, proactive and team-oriented personality Salary & benefits: $60-75K (depending on experience) WFH flexibility Supportive leadership and excellent training opportunities Domestic and international travel Career pathway into mid-level coordination and event management Monthly phone allowance THE MONDAY GROUP is a specialist recruitment agency and executive search firm for the events, experiential marketing, hotel & hospitality industries.
