Our client produces up to 100 events annually, ranging from intimate high-end incentive trips to large-scale conferences for thousands of attendees. They are searching for a proactive, confident, and detail-driven Senior Event Coordinator ready to hit the ground running and grow within a supportive, fast-paced environment. The role: The Senior Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of conferences, incentives and other corporate events, with a strong initial focus on delegate registrations, travel & accommodation management, and other event/supplier logistics. Once established in the team you will step up to act as 2IC on larger projects, lead registration teams, or run your own smaller domestic and international incentive programs end-to-end. Manage delegate registrations, communications and event databases Build and maintain registration sites using EventsAIR or Cvent Support Event Managers and Team Leaders across conferences, incentives and corporate events as required Coordinate travel logistics including flights, accommodation and transfers Work with venues on BEOs, rooming lists, F&B, onsite requirements Assist with supplier coordination and event documentation Support onsite delivery across domestic and international events Lead registration teams or manage smaller incentive groups as capability grows Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency Candidate profile: Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in corporate events, with a minimum of 2 years in an event agency environment- as Event Coordinator or Junior Event Manager Strong understanding of conference and/or incentive logistics Experience with EventsAIR or Cvent highly regarded, but tech-savvy candidates welcome Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working remotely Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and suppliers, and work autonomously Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent programs Passion for travel and onsite event delivery Salary & benefits: $75,000 – $90,000K (depending on experience) Extensive WFH flexibility, can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne Domestic and international travel opportunities (approx. 4-5 trips per year) Supportive, collaborative team and excellent career development Exposure to large-scale events and premium incentive programs Generous monthly phone allowance THE MONDAY GROUP is a specialist recruitment agency and executive search firm for the events, experiential marketing, hotel & hospitality industries.
