Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Director of Sales & Marketing to craft and execute sales strategies that maximise revenue and market share, lead a high-performing sales team to drive business growth, and elevate the hotel’s presence through innovative marketing initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership and follow the planned strategies and objectives. As a Portfolio Director of Sales & Marketing you will be responsible for: Lead and manage the Sales and Marketing team to maximise market position of the hotel on an ongoing basis ensuring utilisation of sales resources. Prepare and administers the hotel’s sales & marketing plan and related budget ensuring integration of the strategic planning process in daily operations of the department to achieve total revenue goals. Direct and manage all sales training, yearly sales targets, sales quotas, the incentive plan and all other corporate and hotel learning required to maintain the most effective sales professionals in the market. Remains informed of the competition’s sales and marketing strategies and counteract effectively to secure maximum business for our hotel and our company. Develop a strategic plan for identifying major account and business opportunities in all market segments and thereby broadening the account base. Ensure the delivery of guest service through the operations group to exceed customer expectations. Maintains regular and effective communication with corporate sales and marketing management teams, and other local hotels while working with the Regional DOS&M on synergistic opportunities. Review weekly forecasts and market share reports and actively participate in ensuring business levels and market share is maintained. Have a complete understanding of the Hotel sales vision; its products, services, and rate structure to fulfil business objectives.
