We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join a team in Brunswick, supporting the not-for-profit sector. Description Process end-to-end payroll for staff ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Handle payroll queries and provide exceptional support to staff members. Prepare and process superannuation contributions and other statutory obligations. Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations for the Accounting & Finance department. Ensure compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and tax regulations. Collaborate with internal teams to improve payroll processes and systems. Stay updated on legislative changes impacting payroll practices. 4 day (0.8 FTE) Permanent role Profile A successful Payroll Officer should have: A strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements. Experience within the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded but not essential. Proficiency in payroll systems and accounting software. (Employment Hero preferred) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage deadlines effectively and work within a team environment. Strong communication skills to address queries and liaise with internal stakeholders. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000 superannuation.
